Gartner® Names iBase-t as a Visionary in the 2023 Magic Quadrant for MES

iBase-t is a Visionary in this Magic Quadrant. Its Solumina product is focused on complex, discrete assembly in regulated industries. Its clients are predominantly large aerospace and defense (A&D) manufacturers and their suppliers. Its operations are mostly focused in North America, with more focus on expanding into France and the U.K.

iBase-t’s microservices-based iSeries is offered as a cloud solution on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure, or on-premises. To support further international presence, iBase-t is expanding its delivery partner ecosystem. The solution is updated twice a year.

Strengths

• Vertical/Industry Strategy: iBase-t’s Solumina has a long, successful track record of providing MES functionality tailored for complex discrete assembly, and is targeted at aerospace, defense, nuclear and other highly regulated industries in complex discrete manufacturing. It is also seeing success in satellite launch-related businesses.
• Customer Support and Operations: iBase-t offers preconfigured solutions for complex manufacturing scenarios. It is expanding its collaboration with additional global SIs and resellers to build its global reach and range. Forty percent of implementations are supported by partners.
• Customer Adoption: After initial success with its cloud-based iSeries in midmarket accounts, iBase-t now reports some of its large customers have migrated some of their operations to iSeries.
