The ideal candidate will support the Sales organization with the technical sale of our Solumina product functionality, working with the Product Development organization in the process.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact and product domain expert for the Sales Organization supporting field sales in their mission.


• Clearly communicate technical and product roadmap/vision to the field sales force and Customers.


• Responsible for developing and delivering product demos, presentations to Customers, Partners for pre-sales activities, user conferences, seminars and tradeshows.


• Work with Customers to gather product requirements, and help the Product Development organization with the detailed analysis and documentation of the requirements.


• Be willing to travel at short notice for supporting pre-sales activities (50-75% travel is expected)


• Own the technical aspects of a sale, and have accountability for Customer satisfaction in this regard.


• Experience/Skills


• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field in IT


• Very strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present to a wide variety of audiences (Customers, Partners, Sales, Internal Product Teams etc.,)


• 7+ years of experience in a pre-sales/sales support role, with accountability for Customer satisfaction in the role.


• Experience in the manufacturing industry and associated processes highly preferred


• Experience with enterprise business application software (installation, configuration and deployment) required.


• Strong technical skills with configuration of databases, application servers, installation scripts/utilities etc.,


• Ability to be hands on and pick up the domain and the product quickly.
