DUTIES:

  • Research tradeshows, conferences and speaking opportunities for senior management
  • Support publishing of marketing materials, and managing media placements on print and web
  • Development of content and artwork for web site and brochures in collaboration with Web Marketing Specialist and VP Product Marketing
  • Refinement of Powerpoint presentations for product sales engagements
  • Campaign management assistance across portfolio of events
  • Coordinate creation and fulfillment of promotional materials
  • Administrative and project management support for VP Product Marketing
  • Administrative duties related to budget management for Marketing activities
  • Create initial drafts of Marketing Communications items such as: press releases, newsletters, email announcements and info-letters, invitations to marketing events

SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE:

  • BA with emphasis in Advertising, Marketing or a related field

Job Description

US Citizenship and Active Security Clearance is required for this position.

The successful candidate is responsible for installing, upgrading, troubleshooting, and maintaining a mix of Windows and UNIX development and production environments at a U.S. Navy installation. Must be able to support development team and provide rapid response to customer requirements. Must be willing to accept other duties as may be assigned. Availability for occasional after-hours, weekend, or on-call support is required.

Will support software development team, network administrators, and customers, and identifies, researches and resolves technical problems, both hardware and software, in a timely manner.

Installs, maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and supports Microsoft IIS and Apache web servers.

Installs/configures new software, performs system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches to ensure proper systems operations and resolves system issues.

Supports the backup of data, maintains data files and databases, and monitors system configurations to ensure data integrity.

Develops and maintains documentation on users, systems, applications, issues, configurations, and security. This includes technical and administrative documentation of plans and deployment strategies, process documentation, and procedures to support software development team and to facilitate Enterprise production deployment.

Responsible for hardware and software asset management, including asset inventory, tracking, administration and support. Ensure no copyright and/or license violation.

Reports weekly on accomplishments, problems, and plans.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years experience administering MS Windows 2000/2003 and Sun Solaris (UNIX/LINUX) Servers supporting Web-based, multi-tiered applications and services (Oracle database, OAS and IIS, J2EE Environment).
  • MCSE or equivalent is highly desired.
  • Experience with TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, DNS, Web Application Servers (Apache, OAS, & IIS) and Oracle databases.
  • Must be able to integrate with and support a fast-paced customer-focused software development team.
  • Must be customer service oriented.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
  • Active clearance required.
  • Understanding of/experience with NMCI, especially as related to security requirements.
  • Familiar with installation and administration of PKI certificates.
  • Experience installing, administering and supporting Rational Tools Suite is a plus

Experience installing, configuring, and tuning Oracle 7x, 8i and 9i client/server database products on various platforms, performance optimization and tuning techniques including metrics and bench marking backup strategies and disaster recovery. Able to write SQL & Unix scripts. The focus is on the design, analysis, and planning leading up to database installations, modifications, and conversions. Able to review codes, helps other developers and manages and maintains multiple databases. Uses and adapts specific IS/RDMS analytical, design, and management tools, such as Erwin, Designer/2000, Oracle Utilities, etc. Sr. Database Administrator/Engineer must have a minimum of 7 years combined experience as a DBA and Programmer. Pr. Database Administrator/Engineer must have a minimum of 10 years combined experience. Must be able to perform in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Must be able to crisply and quickly articulate and convey issues, trade-offs, and/or design technical approaches. Must be able to direct other technical team members without having direct line authority. Must have a manufacturing background or significant manufacturing exposure (ERP, MRP, MES) systems. Job Description

This position requires the ability to gain and retain a Secret Clearance.

Rational Tools Administrator to support architecture, administration, maintenance and scripting of the IBM Rational tools including ClearCase, RequisitePro, ClearQuest, TestManager, and Project Console in a multiple project environment. An in depth knowledge of the tool set is required to design and extend our existing Rational installation to support an increasing user community. Excellent communication skills are required to train new users in the proper usage of the tools, and to work with project management to plan for tool support needs. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance and support of the tool suite in an integrated environment
  • Maintenance of the Rational tool servers and database servers
  • Management of the Oracle database supporting the Rational tool suite
  • Provide technical support for any problems with the tool suite
  • Maintain documentation for all licenses
  • Mange tool user accounts
  • Coordinate and manage service releases and updates of the tools
  • Modify and customize tools as required using the Rational extensibility interfaces
  • Develop procedures documenting tool usage and tool administration
  • Support development of Project Console reports to monitor project activities
  • Support security requirements for the multiple project environment

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience administering ClearCase with UCM (Unified Change Management)
  • 3+ years experience administering RequisitePro, ClearQuest, and Test Manager
  • Experience configuring integration features among the Rational Tools
  • 2+ years experience administering Rational Tools using Oracle as the database. Requires experience creating Oracle schemas and installing and configuring Oracle to support the tools.
  • 2+ years experience administering ClearQuest and RequisitePro web interfaces
  • 1+ year(s) experience administering Project Console
  • Experience with ClearQuest customizations using the ClearQuest Extensibility API and the VBA or Perl scripting interfaces.
  • Experience working in a CMMI level 3 environment
  • Experience documenting procedures for tool users and tool administration
  • LAN administration skills to support tools in an enterprise environment.

Special Skills:

  • Experience supporting tool users on an NMCI network via the Rational web interfaces
  • Secret Security Clearance
